ditions, you should present yourself
to one of the Medical Advisers whose
names are given on the enclosed letter,
for the purpose of being medically
examined.
The letter is to be left
with the Medical Adviser and he will
send his report direct to this Depart-
ment. His fee will be paid by the
Crown Agente for the Colonies, and if
it is necessary for you to travel by
rail for the purpose of the examination
your return fare (third class) will
be refunded to you on your informing
this Department of the amount.

If finally selected for the
probationery appointment, you will be
provided with a free passage to the
Colony (second class by mail steamer} of first class by other vessels
on your signing the usual agreement
with the Crown Agents for the Colonies,
Whitehall Gardens, S.W., by which you
